Apprenticeship

The Temple Wilton Community Farm is a year-round CSA with about 130 acres of pasture, hay fields and vegetables and we provide over 100 households with vegetables, milk, yogurt, eggs and meat. We have 6 acres of vegetables and fourteen milking cows, as well as heifers, calves and 120 chickens.

Every year our farm takes in a few people who are interested in learning about our agricultural methods.

Work in the fields and in the greenhouse includes all aspects of planting, weeding and harvesting over forty different vegetables and herbs, as well as regular applications of the Bio-dynamic preparations. We need two apprentices from mid-April through the end of October. If you are interested in working in the vegetable fields please contact Anthony Graham at agraham@tellink.net (603)654-5751.

Work in the dairy includes milking, moving cows to pasture, making yogurt and haying. We need one apprentice from May through September. If you wish to work with the animals please contact Lincoln Geiger at lincolngeiger@comcast.net

All apprentices are provided with a room, farm produce, a $500/month stipend, and worker’s compensation.

We offer the opportunity to learn about Bio-dynamic and locally supported agriculture and there are many recreational possibilities in the area. Please see our links page for more information on Bio-dynamics.
