The 2012 season will be our 27th since we began in 1986. As of the end of March we have had some really peculiar weather with a very mild and snow free winter, followed by an extremely hot early spring.

Our apprentice housing is now entering it’s second year and is making a big difference in how much help we are able to get during the season. We will have a large crew working on the farm this year which should take some of the burden off the full time farmers. We also have one new full time farmer in the dairy and an extra part time farmer in the garden.

We have just purchased a potato planter and will be growing potatoes again after a long break.

This year should see the Gage Rd Field put under an easement but we still need a few thousand dollars to make this a reality. Please see the Gage Rd link for more details.
